Hi, I’m Neha! (NAY-ha!! Neigh! You can do it I believe in you!)

I grew up in New Jersey, went to college in North Carolina and planted roots there, and then moved to Miami a few years ago, because… why not? I studied Biology and will always love science, but I’ve done art, sculpture, and every kind of craft I can get my hands on my whole life. I was not aware that Arts and Crafts could be a career, so I have a full-time job in clinical research to fund my art supplies. When I’m not fiddling around in Excel or making things, I do crosswords and trivia, and go on boats (that’s just what you do when you live in Miami).

I live with a big ol’ tabby cat named Joseph who I’m very allergic to, but I’m pretty sure I read somewhere that cats can heal your bones. Sometimes he helps me with my art (by sitting right on top of it).

I make art to smile. To escape, to offer escape, to learn, to grow, to save myself from boredom. If there is a child around, you can find me trying to get them to make art with me. I’m inspired by people and things I love, and obsessed with faces. Sharing art is my favorite thing to do, so thank you for being here!
